WHY Have We NOT Impeached Bush Yet?

Surely you know of his past "crimes", but if you need more read this  Bush is more of a dictator than any other U.S. president in my lifetime, tho Nixon does come to mind.
Bush has refused to turn over subpoenaed documents, revealing "disdain for our system of checks and balances."   The White House also made clear that Miers and Taylor would not testify next month, as directed by the subpoenas, which were issued June 13. The stalemate could end up with House and Senate contempt citations and a battle in federal court over separation of powers.
"Increasingly, the president and vice president feel they are above the law," said Leahy, D-Vt

The U.S. as the Worlds Cash Cow

It has always been obvious to me that the United States buys its friend and allies.  And when the cash flow stops so does the friendship / alliance. Everyone wants U.S. dollars.  Its the methods of obtaining them that differs. Here is just the latest example of one of those methods, North Korea agreeing to disarm in exchange for financial considerations, or extortion  in my opinion.  Why is it that other countries can extort
money from the U.S. thru veiled threats, but if you or I were to do it, you know where we'd end up, right?

The Bush Method Of Avoiding Intelligent Input

You too can now think and act like President G.W.Bush. Avoid being coerced by intelligent people; avoid making smart decisions; avoid hearing how stupid you are.
Yes it can all be yours, for a very low price. We paid a very high price for having Bush as president but now you can think and act like him, tho i dont know why you would want to. try it now but remember to stop using it before the next election

Space pioneers wanted for 520-day Mars experiment
The European Space Agency (ESA) on Tuesday called for applications for one of the most demanding human experiments in space history: a simulated trip to Mars in which six "astronauts" will spend 17 months in an isolation tank on Earth.

Their spaceship will comprise a series of interlocked modules in an research institute in Moscow, and once the doors are closed tight, the volunteers will be cut off from all contact with the outside world except by a delayed radio link.

They will face simulated emergencies, daily work routines and experiments, as well as boredom and, no doubt, personal friction from confinement in just 550 cubic metres (19,250 cubic feet), the equivalent of nine truck containers   Full Story Here

Extortion in Gods Name

Sony, (certainly no friend of mine) produced a video game "Resistance: Fall of Man" that has sold over 2 million units to date.  It is a game that takes place in the 1950's Britain and presents a battle of soldiers against aliens. Among the many battle scenes is one that takes
place inside a building that resembles Manchester Cathedral in northwest England.

Enter the Church of England, (also  certainly no friend of mine) specifically the cathedral's dean, the Very Rev. Rogers Govender, ( his title,
NOT one I would give him  necessarily).
Said Govander, "For a global manufacturer to recreate the interior of any religious building such as a mosque, synagogue, or in this case, a cathedral, with photo realistic quality and then encourage people to have gunbattles in the building is beyond belief and in our view highly irresponsible,"   He said the church wanted to discuss its outstanding demands, which include withdrawal of the game and a donation to the church's education department, which works to fight gun violence in Manchester.

That my friends is nothing short of extortion. Why? Very simply because, forever, movies, television, books and now video games have often incorporated familiar, popular & or famous places in their themes and plots. So why the fuss now? I'll tell you why. The church smelled a cheap
paycheck. Sure their against violence. Everyone is these days. Its the politically correct thing to be. Don't get me wrong it is a worthy cause, but in this case it was seemingly secondary to the fact that the violence took
place in a facsimile of the cathedral. Complaining about THAT primarily is a sin, a crime even.  And you know whats even more sinful and
criminal?  The organized crime church will collect its undeserved monies completely unpunished, because companies today are deathly afraid of bad publicity and that leaves them easy prey (or should I say pray) for the extortionists. Full story HERE

Together again in death maybe?

Billy Graham's wife, Ruth, dies.  Maybe she just couldnt live without Jerry Falwell , ya think??

I know I have used poor taste, poor judgement here, but hey, fact is,  stranger things than this have happened in the infamous circle of the conservative religious. Anyone hear frome  the "cured Ted Haggard lately?   Speaking of "circle" ....... nah we won't go there.  Just think nice  thoughts .....  Ruth and Jerry together in .........  death?  heaven?   hell?  I'll let you decide.

More Consequences of Global Warming

Now structures are imperilled

Paris Hilton Released from Jail ...

, Due to a medical condition, and is to spend the rest of her sentence under house arrest.

This is just utterly ridiculous But typical of the American Justice system, where the rich and beautiful rarely go to jail

Libby Gets 2 1/2 Years in Jail

One down many more to go. Libby is just a scapegoat. Like many other organized crimes, the "boisses" hardly ever get brought to justice.    Question in my mind is will the "Bush-whacker" pardon Libby before leaving office the end of 2008.    Stay tuned, he may end up serving less time than Paris Hilton!
