for anyone interested paragon if offering its  Hard Disk Manager 8 free. you must register with them and they will mail you a serial number. even tho it appears this offer has expired. it JUST NOW worked for me, they mailed me  a serial number so it should also work for you. of course with  my dial up connection my download wont finish for another hour, so i wont know till i get up later whether the serial number really works  but thats my problem. enjoy........
