Barbaro Loses His Battle

            Barbaro, the 2006 Kentucky Derby winner,  was euthanized early this morning, ending his 8 month battle to recover from a broken leg he suffered in the running of the Preakness,  and other complications. Much credit goes to Veterinarian  Dr. Dean Richardson, the chief surgeon for Barbaro.
