Jewish groups plead to save life of convicted killer
Orthodox Jewish groups are trying to persuade Gov. Charlie Crist to spare the life of Martin Grossman, a convicted killer scheduled for execution Tuesday.
Among the 200 groups are Amnesty International, National Council of Young Israel, Agudath Israel of America, Orthodox Union, Chabad, Satmar, Rabbinical Alliance of America and the nonprofit Aleph Institute
It will be interesting to see if they get their way as usual. Florida is not known for its leniency. and Crist is supposedly a law-and-order hard-liner
Crist however has been criticized for being too "soft" in the past, and the jews do seem to have Crist "in their pocket" as he bids to again become Senator Crist.
Heck even his 2nd wife is Jewish, tho he claims to be a conservative christian.
