Toyota suspending sales and production of eight models

Toyota Motor Corp. has taken the unprecedented step of suspending sales and production of eight models, including the top-selling Camry and Corolla, because their accelerator pedals can stick and cause runaway acceleration.

This is a bold, applaudable move in an ideal society. But in a Capitalistic one, it seems like suicide. Like vultures to a fresh carcass,  people, lawyers, and other businesses dependant upon Toyota for their livelihood will being flooding the courts with various lawsuits. This on top of the untold " ...ilions"  that Toyota will lose in sales and repairs on existing cars.
They are without doubt admitting guilt and in this society, you will get eaten alive for being so moral.
 But HIGHLY moral they are being, and i admire them for that. Perhaps originating in a country where honor is the most important trait a person can have, Toyota still has it.  Also being a highly reputable car maker with a long excellent history,  will help them thru this. They will survive i think, but they will have to kick and claw their way back to the top.
