Woman jailed for refusing to remove head scarf

Ok, so I kinda agree with this ruling, to a point.  Im in agreement because I believe all people should assimilate toward U.S. "traditions" if there gonna live here.
when an American woman goes to an Islamic country she is expected (required?) to cover her head, so why shouldnt we expect / require a muslim woman in this country to UN-cover her head..

HOWEVER, does a "nun" wearing a habit have to remover her head gear? Or worse since in most cases she would also be weraing a very loose fitting, flowing long dress, does she also have to submit to a strip search?  Lets face it alot can be hidden under there.  further does an orthodox jewish woman have to remove her wig? Or does any other wig wearing woman or man have to remove theirs?
